The EMX LRS-C1 Vehicle Detector incorporates advanced three-axis magneto-resistive sensing technology, which responds to changes in the Earth's magnetic field caused by ferrous objects. With three sensing elements measuring in the X, Y, and Z axes, this detector improves sensitivity in both above-ground and below-ground installations. One of its standout features is the DETECT-ON-STOP™ (DOS®) functionality, which allows detection solely when a vehicle has come to a complete stop. This exclusive feature from EMX is particularly beneficial for preventing cross traffic in tight spaces. The Loop Replacement System (LRS) features advanced 3-axis, magnetoresistive sensing technology that responds to changes in the Earth’s magnetic field caused by ferrous objects. Three sensing elements provide measurements in the X, Y and Z axes to improve detection sensitivity when used in either above-ground or below-ground installations.
The LRS is equipped with our new DETECT-ON-STOP™ or (DOS®) feature, which allows detection only when a vehicle has come to a complete stop. This EMX exclusive feature is a significant advantage if you want to ignore cross traffic in tight spaces.
The detector’s compact, loop-less design reduces installation costs when compared to traditional inductive loop technology.

The EMX Flat Pack Vehicle Detector Sensor is a magnetoresistive, direct burial sensor equipped with a 30-meter lead wire. This sensor efficiently stores ambient background information and settings in non-volatile memory. It features fast, high-speed detection and utilises detect-on-stop technology to ignore cross traffic in tight spaces, allowing for accurate detection when a vehicle comes to a complete stop.
This model is explicitly designed for direct use with the EMX LRS Single Cut Installation Vehicle Detector Control Unit (Model: LRS-C1). The Single Cut Loop Replacement System features advanced 3-axis magnetoresistive sensing technology, enabling the sensor to measure the magnetic field across the x, y, and z axes. This feature enhances detection sensitivity and improves response to any disturbances caused by ferrous objects.
